Is your face painting, glitter, and other products safe for me and my family's skin?

Absolutely! Every single product we use is made specifically to be applied to the skin. We use only cosmetic-grade face paint and the exact type of medical-grade adhesive used for professional Hollywood prosthetics.

How far in advance should I book?

For our peak summer months of June, July, and August, we highly recommend booking at least one month in advance. However, please never hesitate to ask—we always do our absolute best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible!

How many kids can you do in an hour?

As a general rule of thumb, you can plan on us servicing about 15 kids per hour for standard face painting or balloon twisting. We can do about double that speed (around 30 per hour) for glitter tattoos, and about 10 kids per hour for our detailed hair art.

Will adding balloon twisting or other services help us get through more kids at our event?

No, or at least not usually. Almost always at events, if a child gets their face painted, they are also going to want a balloon and want their hair done. Because these services are done separately, adding different service types doesn't increase processing speed. The only way to get through more guests faster is to add more artists of the same service type (e.g., hiring multiple face painters or multiple hair artists).

When will our artists arrive at our event?

Our artists will arrive 15 minutes early, fully in uniform, set up, and ready to go. We highly recommend that event hosts keep their phones at the ready at arrival time in case our team has any quick logistical questions.

Can Color Me Fun provide a tent, table, and chairs?

Not only can we provide equipment, but we are also thrilled to offer our Color Me Fortress mobile event venue! This is a premium, custom 10'x20' colorful canopy tent that we had custom-manufactured in Italy by Mastertent. It is professional, attention-grabbing, and available as an added charge for corporate events, large family gatherings, and major celebrations.

Can you do custom designs?

Absolutely! If your event line isn't too busy, our artists can often accommodate custom requests as long as a guest can show us an example design on a cell phone. If you need specific themed designs, corporate logos, or special requests for the entirety of your event, we can easily arrange that for an extra charge if coordinated beforehand.

What types of events do you do? Do you do birthdays or just large events?

Our tagline is "Birthdays. Events. Everything." because we truly do it all! We service absolutely every type of gathering you can imagine—from small home birthday parties and corporate events to weddings, bar mitzvahs, and celebrations of life or funerals.

Do you service the entire state of Alaska?

Yes! We proudly service the entire state. While we have staff available year-round in the Anchorage and Mat-Su areas, we have sent our artists to remote villages and will happily travel anywhere in Alaska for an additional travel fee.
